“Psychic Purple” Is Up Next On The Air Jordan 1 Low

Like it’s close kin, the Nike Dunk Low, #23’s Air Jordan 1 Low has arguably done everything in its 36-year-history. For its latest ensemble, the lifestyle-oriented silhouette has abandoned any cultural or playful theme in favor of a simple “Psychic Purple/White” colorway. Smooth leather bases set the stage for the titular purple tone with their “colorless” arrangement, which is reminiscent of a handful of Nike Sportswear classics’ most common styles. Overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel, then, interrupt the white makeup with vibrant “Psychic Purple” flair. Branding on the tongue follows suit, but “Wings” insignia at the lower heel (which differs from the original low-top Air Jordan 1) reverts to stark white contrast. Underfoot, sole units opt for tried-and-tested color-blocking, bringing a final touch of boldness to the outsole. Enjoy official images of the women’s retro ahead, and expect a Nike.com launch soon. Elsewhere under the Team Jumpman banner, the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” is revving up to be one of 2022’s most-coveted releases.

Jordan Brand Gives the Air Jordan 1 Low a “Coconut Milk” Colorway

While a couple of Air Jordan 1 collaborations have surfaced on the internet such as the SoleFly edition and another by Travis Scott with fragment design, the Jordan Brand decided to keep it minimal by debuting a crisp “Coconut Milk” colorway.

In the past few years, the use of cream and khaki hues on sneakers has been more evident than ever as Nike even released a full-blown all-cream Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 High OG. Much like the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT’s cream and black color scheme, the pair showcases a creamy leather upper construction in a sail hue with stark black hitting the lateral Swooshes and insole branding. All branding elements are embroidered in the same milky shade while the white midsole slices in between the uppers and rubber outsole.

Look out for the Air Jordan 1 Low “Coconut Milk” to release soon at select retailers and Nike’s website for $100 USD.

RAVIS SCOTT X AIR JORDAN 1 OG LOW REPORTEDLY RELEASING IN 2 NEW COLORWAYS

Reports are suggesting that the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 OG Low is set to arrive in two new colorways.

Sharing similarities with La Flame’s previous releases, the rumored kicks are constructed with multiple materials in three tones. Highlighting the kicks are the rapper’s usual reversed Swoosh, which is accompanied by Air Jordan branding on the heel, tongue and insoles. Completing the look are the off-white midsoles and gray outsoles.

Check out the design above. The two monochrome Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 OG Lows are expected to release in early 2022.

Air Jordan 1 Low Receives a Clean Gray/Red Makeover

Jordan Brand is slated to drop a new Air Jordan 1 Low in a clean gray, white, and red colorway.

Debuted in a “White/Grey-Red” colorway, this low-cut AJ1 iteration wraps grey suede overlays on the mudguard, eyestay and heel across a crisp white leather upper. To offer more contrast to the understated design, pops of red give way to the side Swooshes. Additional detailing comes in the form of a Jumpman logo on the tongue tag and printed insoles, Wings embroidery at the heel, and the metallic dubré. White midsoles atop gray rubber outsoles complete the simple look.

Priced at $100 USD, the Air Jordan 1 Low in “White/Gray-Red” is expected to drop on 1 October at Nike.

Overall, the model sports the aforementioned colorway’s makeup but in a reverse manner. Defined by the backward facing Swoosh featured on the lateral, followed by signature Travis Scott markings such as the “Cactus Jack” logo on the tongue, medial side panel and lining, the sneaker is topped off with heel tabs branded with the Wings logo on the right and Scott’s Cactus Jack face on the left in red.

The Latest Kid’s Air Jordan 1 Low Features Multi-Colored Canvas

The Air Jordan 1 Low still doesn’t garner the attention of its tallest counterpart, but it’s won new enthusiasts over throughout 2021 with handfuls of compelling styles. The latest proposition arrives in the form of a colorful kid’s-exclusive retro donning canvas overlays. As with some of the most popular Nike Dunks to release since 1985, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a “colorless” leather base. Panels around the forefoot, along the tongue and at the heel deviate from their underlay’s white makeup in favor of autumn-appropriate yellow and brown. Collar lining and patches at the bottom heel, however, introduce vibrant green and pink into the mix, respectively. Profile swooshes also partake in the canvas build, which delivers a late Spring 2021 or early Spring 2022 option. Underfoot, a tried-and-proven midsole is coupled with a semi-translucent Nike Grind outsole. Enjoy official images of the low-top Air Jordan 1 here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon. Platform Soles Give Height To The New Air Jordan 1 Low LV8D

When Balenciaga debuted the Triple S, brands across the sneaker industry were quick to imitate, attempting to reproduce the shoe’s size, aesthetic, and bulk. And though years ago, the effects of the high fashion silhouette can still be felt today, inspiring taller versions of existing classics. Here, Jordan Brand throws yet another in the ring: the humble but still imposing Air Jordan 1 Low LV8D. All energy was put into the design of the platform sole, which is a heavily exaggerated version of the AJ1’s usual tooling. The midsole as well as the tread is double, near triple the size of the original, matching the proportions of the entire upper. But unlike the bottom, the latter is kept more familiar, opting for a standard display of white and tan leathers. Enjoy a close-up look at the new AJ1 Low model here and sit tight as we await release details. In other news, have you seen the BAPE Vans Collection?

This Air Jordan 1 Low Alludes To The Fan-Favorite Diamond Shorts

This Air Jordan 1 Low Alludes To The Fan-Favorite Diamond Shorts

Over the course of its 36-year-old history, Jordan Brand has been self-referential. For the latest example, the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary has brought a diamond detail used on its apparel to the Air Jordan 1 Low. While the off-white and black color palette isn’t new to the silhouette, its layout is. Nubuck materials covers most of the upper, with “colorless” leather appear at the toe box, profile swooshes and bottom heel overlay. “Wings” insignias at the rear indulge in a black tone, as does branding on the tongue label. Jumpman logos, however, are enclosed by a “diamond” shape that’s appeared across basketball shorts from Jordan Brand. Underfoot, sole units on the low-top Air Jordan 1 round out the sneaker’s understated makeup with a semi-translucent, light grey outsole. Two Tones Of Blue Appear On The Air Jordan 1 Low

As its tallest counterpart continues trying to figure itself out, the Air Jordan 1 Low has commanded attention within the experimental, non-heritage space. For its latest proposition, Peter Moore’s lifestyle-oriented design has indulged in two shades of blue, as well as grey and white tones, on a women’s-exclusive. Reminiscent of recent Nike Dunk offerings, the newly-surfaced pair boasts a two-tone arrangement across its smooth leather upper. A solid navy color sets the stage for more eye-catching royal blue flair around the toe, along the tongue and throughout the heel. Tongues and collar lining also indulge in both aforementioned tones, creating a look reminiscent of the Air Jordan 13 “Obsidian” from mid-September. Elsewhere, the low-top Air Jordan 1 opts for grey profile swooshes and a white midsole before rounding out the women’s pair with a dark blue outsole. No Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as 2022 approaches. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the retro ahead.
